Sonja Barnum-Mason is a lifelong Las Vegas resident and passionate community advocate who has served on the T.U.L.I.P.S. Board of Directors since 2018. She is committed to empowering youth and strengthening the Southern Nevada community through mentorship, service, and leadership.
Inspired by the legacy of her late brother, Nevada Assemblyman Tyrone Thompson, Sonja continues his lifelong commitment to education, youth development, and civic engagement. She is actively involved in preserving his vision by supporting community initiatives and events that celebrate his dedication to children and families.
Sonja's unwavering compassion, servant leadership, and commitment to creating opportunities for young people make her an invaluable member of the T.U.L.I.P.S. Board. She is honored to help advance the organization's mission of inspiring positive success and empowering the next generation of young women.
