Joi Lewis
Director of Mentorship
Joi Lewis is a proud North Las Vegas native whose foundation of faith, service, and community was established early while being raised in her parents' church alongside her brother.
A dedicated member of TULIPS since 2017, Joi has remained actively involved with the organization throughout her educational journey, including while attending Grambling State University in Grambling, Louisiana. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice, further strengthening her passion for youth advocacy, mentorship, and community engagement.
Today, Joi serves as the Director of Mentorship for TULIPS, where she uses her education, leadership skills, and years of experience with the organization to develop meaningful mentoring relationships and guide the next generation of young leaders. She is passionate about creating opportunities that empower youth, foster personal growth, and build confidence through positive mentorship.
Joi believes that investing in young people is essential to creating stronger, healthier, and safer communities. She is committed to helping reduce the school-to-prison pipeline by providing guidance, encouragement, and access to resources that inspire youth to reach their full potential. Through her leadership, she continues to make a lasting impact on the lives of the young people and families served by TULIPS.
